26 Different Ways God Heals

God does whatever He pleases but He always responds to faith without reservation. Here is a list of several different ways the Lord heal found in scripture. While He is not limited to only these methods, this list should reveal to us something about His heart and ways.

1) Intercession from those sinned against by you; Abimilech’s sin of taking Sarah for his wife; (Genesis 20:17) and Job praying for his friends who had told him that God had left him; (Job 42:10)
2) Intercession of those in authority over you-King Hezekiah and his people; (2 Chronicles 30:20) the Centurion’s servant (Matthew 8:8)
3) God sent His word to Israel and healed them; (Psalms 107:20
4) Returning to the Lord; (Isaiah 6:10)
5) Through praise-;(Jeremiah 17:14&Psalms 149:6-8)
6) Through pastoral nurture; (Ezekiel 34:4)
7) Proclaiming the gospel of the Kingdom ;(Matthew 4:23&24; Luke 9:2)
8) Casting out demons of sickness; (Matthew 8:16)
9) Releasing compassion ;(Matthew 14:14)
10) A mother’s faith, intercession and BOLDNESS; (Matthew 15:22-28)
11) Others bringing the sick to the Lord for healing;(Matthew 15:30)
12) The sick coming to the meetings; (Matthew 21:14)
13) A person’s faith; the woman with hemorrhage for 12 years; (Mark 5:25-34)
14) Laying hands on the sick; (Mark 6:5)
15) Touching the area of the body that is sick; (Luke 22:51)
16) If sinning, confessing the sins to another and having them pray; (James 5:16)
17) Obeying God’s Word; (Proverbs 3:8)
18) Heeding wisdom; (Proverbs 12:18)
19) A trustworthy or faithful ambassador ;(Proverbs 13:17)
20) Hearing pleasant words; (Proverbs 16:24)
21) To fear the name of the Lord ;( Malachi 4:2)
22) Anointing with oil; (Mark 6:13)
23) Prayer when the power of the Lord is present; (Luke 5:17)
24) By any or all of the gifts of faith, healing, wisdom or knowledge; ( 1 Corinthians 12:9)
25) The prophetic word (Psalms 107:20)
26) Using the authority of Christ and the name of Jesus (Acts 16:18)
