Hope is found in Jesus! He is our living hope (1 Peter 1:2) and the enemy is regularly attempting to detach us from having hope by attempting to frame the difficult circumstances we go through with his accusing, hopeless narrative!
Job, one of God’s great men of faith, who tightly held onto his hope in God even in the midst of horrible adversity, said this: “Though he slay me, I will hope in him; yet I will argue my ways to his face.” Job 13:15 1 Peter 2:4-5 – “As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you, like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.”
